Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu

Pick up at the airport, after a short safari debrief, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport to catch up for your flight to Samburu, upon arrival, our driver will pick you and do an eroute game drive as you head to your camp/lodge, check in, have lunch. After lunch you will have some time to relax before you go for an evening game drive. The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro river. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the reserve. Come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu

Spend another day with both morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The main attractions are the resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi

Pre-morning game drive, come back to the lodge/camp for breakfast, then check out, do an enroute game drive as you head to the airstrip to catch up for your flight to Nairobi. Pick up at Wilson airport and transfer to your hotel/Airport.
